Candid Project team's December overseas business trip
In order to help customers solve key issues in customizing advanced driver assistance systems for new cars, Ms. Chen and the project team flew to the customer team on December 24.
After meeting the customer, the team saw the new car. Candid provided the car with 360-degree surround view and millimeter-wave radar, and the work of obtaining the car body data was completed by the Candid.

Use the 3D laser scanner to scan the car body and obtain three-dimensional contour data. This is essential data for the subsequent development of a 360-degree panoramic driving assistance system.
Confirm the wiring position
The 360-degree panoramic monitoring system consists of 1 host + 4 cameras. In the early stage, it is necessary to disassemble the tailgate and the Car screen to find the appropriate wiring position and installation method to ensure "Non-destructive installation" in the later stage.
Get the original vehicle CAN data
Obtaining the original vehicle CAN data is the most important step in connecting the surround view system with the original vehicle's screen. By repeatedly testing the cockpit switch and filtering the effective data signals, the surround view system can be automatically triggered.
The development of the 360-degree panoramic imaging system for new models is inseparable from a mature solution model and the hard work of the project team behind the scenes.
